Hey Starry, that’s a very interesting book, ROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS.

Are you reading it? Oh, you did not know what the number in the title was.

It’s 8 and 0 Starry, 80, e-i-g-h-t-y, 80.

The number 80 comes after 79.

Remember these strings of beads Starry?

Each string has 10 beads.

So ten+ten+ten+ten+ten+ ten+ten+ten that’s 8 tens, 80 beads.

Now suppose we add a single bead to these 8 sets of beads we get 8tens 1 which is 81, e-i-g-h-t-y o-n-e.

On adding 2 beads we get 8 tens 2 that 82, e-i-g-h-t-y t-w-o, 82.

When 3 beads are added to these 8 sets of beads, it forms 8 tens 3 which is the number 83, e-i-g-h-t-y t-h-r-e-e, 83.

Now 8 tens plus 1-2-3-4 beads gives us 8 tens 4, which is the number 84, e-i-g-h-t-y f-o-u-r, 84.

And 8 sets of beads plus 5 beads it is 8 tens 5 which forms the number 85, e-i-g-h-t-y f-i-v-e, 85.

On adding 1 more beads Starry, we get 8 sets of beads plus 1-2-3-4-5-6 beads that 8 tens 6 which is the number 86, e-i-g-h-t-y s-i-x, 86.

Now 8 sets of beads plus 7 beads is 8 tens 7 that is the number 87, e-i-g-h-t-y s-e-v-e-n.

Starry, here are 8 sets of beads plus 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 beads, that’s 8 tens 8, 88, e-i-g-h-t-y e-i-g-h-t.

And 8 sets of beads and 9 single beads is 8 tens 9, 89, e-i-g-h-t-y n-i-n-e.

Counting in the ascending order from 80 .We go 81-82-83-84-85-86-87-88-89.

And in the descending order 89-88-87-86-85-84-83-82-81-80.
