Oh, you don’t know what the number at the finished is 3 and 0 Starry. The number 30.

The number 30 comes after the number 29, t-h-i-r-t-y.

Starry, let me explain it to you with these sticks.

Here are 3 sets of sticks. Count them.

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10, that 10 sticks in 1 set.

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10, another set of 10. That 2 tens, so 20 sticks.

Now count these sticks Starry!

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10, another set of 10 sticks. Counting in tens and units, we get 1 ten plus 1 ten plus 1 ten that is 3 tens 30 sticks Starry.

So 3 tens is 30.

Now here are 10 sticks plus 10 sticks plus 10 sticks and 1 single stick that 1 tens plus 1 tens plus 1 tens plus 1 unit.  
 3 tens and 1 unit.
