Introducing 11 and 12

Starry, are these your drawing?
 You really are an artist!

Oh, you have a new set of crayons.

Come! Let’s count the crayons and we put them back in the box.1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-..uhm.

Starry, why do you stop counting? 
What’s the matter?

I understand, you have learnt to count to 10.
Ok, the number after 10 is 11.

Now the crayons in the box are 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11.E-L-E-V-E-N.

But Starry, there is still one more crayon left out that’s number 12.

The number that comes after 11 is 12.
There, now all 12 crayons are in the box.
Shall we count them again.1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12.
